The League of Conservation Voters released its 2013 National Environmental Scorecard on Tuesday, awarding Sen. Bernie Sanders a 100 percent rating. The scorecard evaluates legislators on some of the most important environmental legislation considered in 2013.
The Senate votes examined by the LCV panel included relief for victims of Superstorm Sandy, taxing carbon emissions and efforts to defeat the Keystone XL Pipeline. The League of Conservation Voters has issued a National Environmental Scorecard every Congress since the group’s founding in 1970.
