BELLOWS FALLS FARMERS MARKET WINTER SERIES

Train Station, 50 Depot St., Bellows Falls, VT

The Bellows Falls Farmers Market is pleased to extend its regular season with a series of winter markets! On Friday, November 15th, the Bellows Falls Farmers Market will hold its first winter market of the season. The market will be held indoors at the Train Station, just across the street from our regular location, 4-7PM. The market will run from November through March the third Friday of each month.

The market will host a diversity of vendors and products. We will have a wide variety of vegetables, breads, cheeses, canned goods, meats, prepared foods, crafts, and more. We welcome back Harlow Farm, Guerrilla Grown Produce, Sawyers Cheese, Orchard Hill Breadworks, J&B Splitrock Rock Farm, and AlpineGlo Farm. We also are welcoming several new vendors this year to include Vermont Quince, Janice Leary, the Community Bike Project and more! So be sure to stop in and check it out.

Winter markets are increasing in popularity in Vermont and around the country. More and more, people are trying to eat locally-grown food through the winter, in addition to the summer months. Winter markets are a chance to connect with farmers outside of the traditional farmers’ market season. In addition, local art, and artisan-crafted products make great holiday gifts. Be sure to mark your calendars now for the season. The markets are November 15, December 20, January 17, February 21 and March 21.

The farmer’s market accepts both EBT/debit. For additional information about the Bellows Falls Farmer’s Market, or to become a vendor, contact market manager Rachel Ware at bellowsfallsmarket@gmail.com or 802-463-2018. Make sure to “like us” on Facebook.
