Groton Community Solar Array Ribbon Cutting

Sunday, June 14, at 2 PM

Dear panel owner in this community solar array, Caledonia county legislator, Groton selectboard member, members of the media, Public Service Board, and representatives from Green Mountain Power, Washington Electric Coop, USDA Rural Development, VSECU, Vermont solar installers and VT Solar advocacy groups,

You are cordially invited to the ribbon cutting for the community solar array at 1035 Scott Highway in Groton (just east of the village on the south side of 302) this Sunday, June 14th at 2 PM. Parking will be on site, towards the river – there is plenty of room south of the array. Please, no parking on Rt 302 or on Tannery Brook Road. Please try to arrive by 2 as we plan to start remarks by 2:15.

We plan to celebrate the success of the solar generation and savings (10% ahead of plan), highlight the diversity of panel owners (13 residences, two businesses and one non profit) and benefits to the town of Groton (water access for fire department and river access for town folks).

No need to RSVP, and you may extend this invitation to others as you see fit.

Hope to see you on Sunday,GMCS Logo Web Transparent Bkgnd
