Join us at 10 am Thursday February 6, 2020 in the Public Service Commission Agency Building 3, 19th Floor Boardroom for its meeting.

We will deliver our “Stop the Albany Loop Pipeline/E37” Oppositional Letter to the Public Service Commission at this time.

At the Public Service Commission meeting, witness how its decisions are made and how these decisions impact the people of New York.

It is important to note that the public is not allowed to speak at these meetings unless it is a party to an agenda item.

Since the Public Service Commission is critical in controlling New York State’s transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy and renewable heat, we demand that the Public Service Commission be accountable to the PUBLIC.

Next, join us at 11:45 am Thursday February 6, 2020 as we deliver our “Stop the Albany Loop Pipeline/E37” Letter to  Governor Cuomo and have an ensuing Press Conference in the War Room on the second floor of the NYS Capitol. There are approximately ten speakers from different environmental and legislative groups planning to speak at the Press Conference.

We will have professionally made hand-held signs available at both events.

This letter is signed by over 100 organizations calling for the Public Service Commission and Governor Cuomo to deny National Grid’s proposed Albany Loop (E37) Pipeline.

The day’s events are hosted by Stop NY Fracked Gas Pipeline and co-hosted by Sane Energy Project, Food and Water Watch New York, and Alliance for a Green Economy.
