Blurb: Senate Bill 286, the Community Power Law (relative to municipal aggregation) went into effect in New Hampshire on October 1, 2019. The law enables local governments (cities, towns, counties) to create new Community Power programs that supply energy to the residents and businesses in those communities. This webinar will answer the questions:1.    What is Community Power (also known as “community choice aggregation” or “municipal aggregation”)?

2.    How can my community or business participate in the implementation of Community Power?

The webinar will also present a case study from one of the country’s leading aggregation programs, Redwood Coast Energy Authority in Humboldt County, California (for background, download and read the RCEA Implementation plan here). To read more about Community Power in New Hampshire, see content from NH Business Review, NHPR, and Clean Energy NH.
