Just Announced: Governor Shumlin and Senator Sanders will both be speaking at Moving Planet Vermont!

This Saturday, Sep 24th is “Moving Planet” — millions of people will be flooding the streets in over 150 countries to push the planet beyond fossil fuels, and strengthen our call for bold action to solve the climate crisis.

In Vermont, we’re having a massive Rally at the Montpelier Statehouse — join hundreds upon hundreds of passionate Vermonters converging from across the state, to show we’re ready to make VT a world leader in shining a light to a safe climate future. (and make sure devastating global warming fueled-Irenes aren’t part of that future.)

: 2-6pm

* 2pm: Festival of Solutions
* 3:30pm: Rally with Senator Sanders
* 5:pm Solar-Powered Dance Party

Join a caravan coming from: Burlington (bike ride), Burlington (walk), StoweBrattleboro, Barre, Turnbridge, Green Mountain College, Hardwick, Charlotte, or Vermont Law School.
