Concentration of CO2 in the Atmosphere

The New York Senate did WHAT unanimously?

Last week the New York State Senate unanimously passed the New York Solar Bill[1] — moving us one step closer to making the Empire State a solar leader

The bill extends the popular NY-Sun program for 10 years, provides enough solar energy to power 400,000 New York homes, creates thousands of local jobs, saves New Yorkers billions by reducing the need to fire up our dirtiest and most expensive power plants, and will spur millions of dollars of investment in the state’s growing clean energy economy.

Keep the momentum going. Thank your senator for voting yes on clean energy for New York.

The news keeps getting better, too! Last week, the governor also introduced similar legislation[2] of his own. The next step is the Assembly taking the solar bill across the finish line.

But first, please take a moment to thank Senator George Maziarz for his leadership and your senator for voting in favor of NY Solar.

The New York Solar Bill is a step in the right direction to move beyond the dirty, outdated fuels of the past and turn toward a renewable energy future for New York.

We will be keeping you updated, and will alert you when it’s time to push the Assembly to take NY Solar over the finish line.

But first take a moment to thank our senators and enjoy the victory!

Thanks for all you do to protect the environment,
