The Condor and The Eagle: Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Communities that bear the greatest burdens from pollution, climate change, and economic inequality should co-lead the way in shaping the assertive solutions we need to tackle the climate crisis and to achieve a just climate future.

Science advocates like you can play a vital role in advancing equitable, science-based policy solutions for our most pressing problems. And to do so, we must listen to those most impacted.

The Union of Concerned Scientists is partnering with Director Clément Guerra to screen the film, The Condor and The Eagle. Join us for this virtual screening of the award-winning documentary which takes viewers on a journey through the environmental justice movement. Stick around after the film for a panel discussion on the meaning of “climate justice.”

In the film, four Indigenous leaders embark on an extraordinary trans-continental adventure from the Canadian boreal forests to the heart of the Amazonian jungle to unite the peoples of North and South America and deepen the meaning of “climate justice.”

Following the film, please join us for a panel discussion featuring:
