Concentration of CO2 in the Atmosphere

NY CLIMATE TOWN HALL MAY 28, 2019

Join me for a CLIMATE TOWN HALL
Tuesday, May 28th, 2019

Dear Friends,

I am writing to invite you to join me for a Climate Town Hall on Tuesday, May 28th at Hudson Valley Community College. You will have the opportunity to hear more about my work advancing comprehensive national climate action through the U.S. Congress, share your climate experiences and ask any climate-related questions you may have.

Climate change is a real and growing threat to our region and nation, our military and countless jobs and industries throughout our economy. In March, I released my Framework for National Climate Action to get a comprehensive climate action plan through Congress at the earliest possible opportunity. You can find more information at Tonko.house.gov/climate. As one of a handful of engineers in Congress, I am proud to be working with my colleagues to put science and evidence before politics and finally take bold action needed to address the growing climate crisis and protect the American people and our shared environment.

DETAILS: This event will be held at the HVCC Field House at the McDonough Sport Complex, located at 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:00 p.m. RSVP HERE

If you have questions regarding this upcoming town hall meeting, do not hesitate to contact my Albany office at (518) 465-0700.  If you are unable to attend, I encourage you to email, call, or write to me with your comments or questions, or to share your climate story by visiting Tonko.house.gov/climate. For real time updates, join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram: @RepPaulTonko. My door is always open.

Please feel free to share this information with family, friends and neighbors as well. My staff and I are here to help, and we want to serve as a resource in any way we can.

I hope to see you there!

Your friend,

P.S. I am encouraging constituents who have felt the impact of climate change to share their stories ahead of this town hall. If climate change has affected you, your family, your home, your health, your job or your business, please consider telling your story HERE.
