2020 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard

Which states are doing the most to save energy and which are falling behind? And how has COVID-19 and the resulting recession affected their efforts? In a comprehensive ranking of 32 metrics in five policy areas, the nonprofit American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) will highlight national winners and, for the first time, regional winners and states to watch. It will look at the top states for utility-sector efficiency, building energy codes, appliance standards, electric vehicles, and other policies and programs.
