Major Federal Direct Payments Are Now Available to Churches and All Nonprofits to Install Solar Arrays on Their Building and/or Grounds in 2023
You are Invited to Come to a Workshop on Saturday, October 14, 2023 between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to Learn How Your Church or Nonprofit Can Receive Significant Federal Funding to “Go Solar”
In 2022, only individual taxpayers and corporations were able to take advantage of a federal tax credit to install solar arrays at their facilities. In 2023, under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) signed into law in August, 2022, churches, libraries, summer camps and almost all nonprofit organization will be eligible to receive a 30% direct payment from the federal government for installing a solar photovoltaic (PV) system at their facility. This is a complete game changer for nonprofits. A PV system that would have cost a church or other nonprofit $50,000 in 2022 will now cost the nonprofit organization $35,000 or less in 2023 after they receive the federal direct payment under the IRA.
The Key Note presentation for the workshop will be given by Eric St. Pierre. Eric is a commercial solar consultant for ReVision Energy, the largest solar installer in New Hampshire and Maine. He has a strong background in construction trades and joined the solar industry and ReVision Energy almost a decade ago. Since then, he has helped more than 500 clients achieve their solar goals. As the solar industry is constantly changing, Eric enjoys sharing his expertise and helping others understand the benefits of switching to clean energy.
If your church or other nonprofit is hoping to install a solar PV array on your facility in 2023 or 2024, this is a “must attend workshop!”
