So Just What Is Hanover Community Power?  And What is “Electric Aggregation” All About?

Attendees at Hanover’s 2017 town meeting voted to become a Ready for 100 community, pledging to move the entire community to 100% renewable power by 2030 and renewable transportation and heating & cooling fuel by 2050.

Find out about Sustainable Hanover’s most significant program since the 2017 vote designed to help the community meet the 2030 goal — Hanover Community Power and adoption of the Hanover Electric Aggregation Plan at the town meeting on Tuesday, July 13th at 7:00 pm at Dewey Field.  Hanover Community Power is designed to purchase 100% green electricity for all Hanover retail electricity customers unless they choose to opt out of this community-wide program.  Hear how we plan to join with dozens of other NH cities and towns in the formation of Community Power Coalition of NH for the procurement of green, more affordable electricity on a large scale.
