Of the 50 companies being recognized, eight are new to the list in 2021, including NST. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Vermont, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses.

- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in the state of Vermont; and
- Must be in business a minimum of 1 year.
“All Vermonters know that Vermont is a great place to live, work and play. We know that our employees are happy with their place of employment. The employers have created a work environment where the employees love to work. Even with a destructive pandemic hitting our world, these employees and employers are committed to a productive workplace, be that while in the office or working remotely. This list is a testament to the fantastic companies here in Vermont”, states John Boutin, Publisher, Vermont Business Magazine.
Who is number one?
The final rankings for each category will be announced at a special awards presentation to be determined at a later date. Each Business on the list will be highlighted in the April issue of VBM.
