- “Large-Scale Solar Project In Oakland Set For Construction This Year” • A $7 million, 5-MW solar project in Oakland, Maine has all its permits, according to Encore Renewable Energy of Burlington, Vermont. - “Nuclear Power Is Getting Hammered By Green Energy And The Pandemic” • Record output from wind and solar is creating frequent electricity oversupplies that push prices down to the point that nuclear reactors are no longer profitable, and even to where utilities give it away.
