Let’s make Tomorrow’s press conference big enough to show how widespread support for this legislation has become. S.311 THE GREEN NEW DEAL is in the Senate Natural Resources Committee. We’ll be urging the Committee to take the bill up by beginning to hold hearings on it in order to move it along to passage by the full Senate as quickly as possible.

And please go on writing and calling the members of the Senate Natural Resources Committee today and as often as you can to tell them to start moving on this bill –fast– because it’s what Vermont needs to do to meet the climate challenge. And ask them, too, to schedule time before the first hearing on the bill for its supporters to present the Vermonter of the Year Award to Senator Anthony Pollina for his courage in introducing S. 311.
