The Facing the Climate Crisis Talks in Montpelier

Do you live near Montpelier and want to learn more about how to face the upcoming climate crisis? Through a partnership of several local organizations, five free talks titled Facing the Climate Crisis will be held once a month from January through May across Montpelier. These talks cover a wide range of topics on how not only to process the climate crisis, but also how to look forward and take action. The Kellogg-Hubbard Library will host a follow-up brown bag discussion the day after each talk from 12 to 1 p.m.. The first of these talks, Climate Change – The Latest and Some Things Unforeseen, will be held on Tuesday, January 14th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. Meteorologist Roger Hill will lead the talk discussing the growing variability of spring, summer heat, and winter cold. All of the talks will be videotaped and can be viewed on Orca Media here.
