Concentration of CO2 in the Atmosphere

Two great events taking place in VT this weekend

There are two great events taking place in VT this weekend. Coming this Saturday, June 9th — the Energy Resource Fair and Town Meeting in Randolph hosted by Sen. Bernie Sanders, and SunCommon’s Sun CARnival, an event in South Burlington celebrating electric vehicles, giving you the chance to see EVs up close and get your questions answered.

Sen. Sanders’ Energy Resource Fair and Town Meeting   Join Senator Sanders this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Energy Resource Fair and Town Meeting at Vermont Technical College in Randolph to discuss how to best utilize energy efficiency and clean energy for your home, business or town. Featuring dozens of presenters, exhibitors and workshops, this event will cover topics ranging from financing options to the latest in technology innovations.

RSVPs are strongly recommended, although not required. (Note: RSVPs do not guarantee a spot at the event — entrance is on a first-come, first-serve basis). Click here to RSVP or call Sen. Sanders’ Burlington office at 1-800-339-9834.

SunCommon’s Sun CARnival  This annual must-attend event is a fun, informative and family-friendly festival to celebrate all the cool ways you can power your life with solar. Electric vehicles (EVs), electric motorcycles, and e-bikes will be on display, and you can chat with EV owners and take a test drive — all while enjoying live music, food trucks, yard games and a solar-powered bouncy house! The Sun CARnival is taking place this Saturday, June 9th at Veterans Memorial Park, 1642 Dorset Street in South Burlington. VPIRG is cosponsoring because electrification is a critical piece of Vermont’s clean energy future, and this is a neat opportunity to see what it could look like for you.

This event is free and open to the public — check out the Facebook event here!
