Dr. Richard Perez, University at Albany professor, is one of the foremost experts internationally
regarding the development of solar energy. While his presentations are customarily given before solar
engineers and energy decision-makers around the world, he makes the power of solar energy clearly
understandable. We are fortunate that he has agreed to share the latest research with us. He brings an
enthusiastic and positive view to the development of our future energy needs, an issue of great concern
to homeowners and business people alike.
Dennis Phayre is a Business Development Director at EnterSolar and has over eight years of experience
in the commercial photovoltaic business development sector. EnterSolar began in 2005 with the goal of
creating a trusted, single source for corporations looking to advance through clean energy. With a focus
on Community Solar Projects, he will help us understand how we can participate in different types of
solar installations.
Judith Enck will serve as moderator. She served as regional administrator for the Environmental
Protection Agency under President Obama for New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands
and the Indian Nations. She is committed to fostering renewable energy systems. She and her husband
live in a solar powered home in Rensselaer County.
