VEEP is offering two regional professional development teams for Vermont teachers this fall. The teams integrate energy and climate literacy, engineering design, and a deep exploration of the three dimensions of NGSS, using a constructivist approach of hands-on, minds-on learning activities followed by action inquiry and reflective discussions. Initial meetings will happen in early October, with three virtual follow-up meetings during October and November and support from a local VEEP educator, and a final in-person sharing day in late November to cap off the program. Graduate credits and PD hours are available.
