“This Changes Everything”, the award-winning film from the book by Naomi Klein, about the changes in our lives resulting from climate change, are real and will be long-lasting. Many of the already appearing climate events are simple to understand, and many of the solutions to living with our climate will provide paths for adapting to this new way of life. But we have to be willing to make these changes.

This is the film that has reverberated throughout the Upper Valley and around the world! Reading and participating in the many discussions held around the Upper Valley has opened minds about the causes, roadblocks, and solutions for an environmentally safe planet. Now we have the opportunity to see the film based on Naomi Klein’s book, “This Changes Everything”. A post-screening discussion will be led by Dr. Alan Betts.
Dr. Betts of Atmospheric Research in Pittsford, VT (http://alanbetts.com) is a frequent speaker on climate change issues around Vermont and New Hampshire. He and has worked on climate change adaptation planning for Vermont.
Atmospheric Research was established in Vermont in 1979. Its mission is to understand the Earth’s weather and climate, to develop improved earth system models and to help society understand the deep challenge that global climate change presents to humanity.
