Colchester, VT – Green Mountain Power will be joined by Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield, founders of Ben & Jerry’s, and Jay Coen Gilbert/Co-Founder of B Lab to announce GMP’s B Corp Certification. B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. There are 1165 B Corporations in 37 countries and GMP is the first utility to become a member of B Corp.
