Hi,
825 – that’s how many bus tickets have already been reserved by Vermonters going to next Sunday’s People’s Climate March in New York City, with many more traveling by van or carpool. I’m one of them, and I hope you’ll join me.

International leaders, including President Obama and China’s Premier, are gathering at the UN in New York to hash out the beginnings of an international treaty to tackle global warming before it’s too late. They need to hear, loud and clear, that the world is watching. That’s the message that tens of thousands of people will be delivering in person on September 21st.
There’s much more we must do in Vermont to leave a better world for future generations. But next Sunday, Vermont’s contribution will be to send over one thousand of its citizens to New York to make sure world leaders don’t forget their duty either.
I hope you’ll join me to be part of history.
Thanks for all that you do.
Ben
PS – Buses have been selling out left and right, but you still have plenty of options to get to the NYC next Sunday for the March. Check the People’s Climate March Ride Share board, post on GoVermont ride share or reserve a spot on the bus leaving from Brattleboro. Hope to see you there!
