Tim DeChristopher, known as “Bidder 70” for bidding up illegal oil and gas leases in Utah and then, being arrested and sentenced to two years in a federal prison which he served — is coming to Dartmouth! Now a student at Harvard Divinity School, Tim will have a conversation about climate change, divestment, and why civil disobedience is a deeply American ideal. Join us for a very special salon with one of the true heroes of the environmental and social justice movement.
