VT Clean Energy Development Fund Request for Proposals – Statewide Model Community Solar Contract

Dear CEDF Stakeholders,

The Vermont Public Service Department’s (PSD’s) Clean Energy Development Fund (CEDF) is seeking proposals from entities with experience negotiating legal contracts on behalf of Vermont local governments for the creation of a model solar contract document(s) and accompanying guidelines for use by Vermont municipalities and schools. The selected individual or group will work closely with the State, Vermont towns and schools, solar vendors, and entities assisting Vermont communities with solar deployment to determine the needs of towns and schools, with the goal of creating model community solar contract document(s) and accompanying guidelines that work within a Vermont-specific policy environment and garner maximum benefits for Vermont municipalities and schools.

The total amount of funding available through this Request for Proposals (RFP) is $25,000 for a project that will run through June 2014. Hard copies and electronic copies of proposals must arrive at the Public Service Department by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, November 8, 2013. The complete Request for Proposals is attached and may also be downloaded from the Vermont Public Service Department website at: http://publicservice.vermont.gov/announcements/rfps.
