They can’t even get their lies straight anymore.

TransCanada, a foreign oil company, just launched a massive new advertising campaign making false claims that the Keystone XL pipeline would create thousands of new jobs for Americans.

The real number? Only 35 permanent jobs.

TransCanada and other pipeline supporters are trying to sell us a pipeline that’s all risk and no reward, and they’ve made so many contradictory claims that it’s impossible to believe anything they say anymore.

It’s like they’re playing darts with a blindfold on, hoping the American people will fall for one of their numbers — but we know better.

We know the Keystone XL will carry more than 800,000 barrels of dangerous tar sands through America’s heartlands. We know the pipeline will endanger our health, climate, and national security, while displacing American families and raising prices for consumers across the Midwest.
