PORTSMOUTH — A talk by local entrepreneur and award-winning beer brewer Peter Egelston will highlight a “Solar Garden Party” gathering in Portsmouth today from 2 to 6 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Seacoast Area Renewable Energy Initiative (SEAREI), a Portsmouth-based community building nonprofit organization that promotes and installs residential renewable energy systems in the region. The gathering will also feature food and beverages provided by area restaurants, live music, solar energy exhibits and a “solar raffle” with solar-powered equipment and products as prizes.
“We’re thrilled to have Peter Egelston speak at our party, and have such generous support from area eateries to make for a delicious meal together,” said Ann Bliss, SEAREI co-founder and board president. “We urge everyone concerned about future energy sustainability to come help support SEAREI and renewable energy on the Seacoast!”
