Concentration of CO2 in the Atmosphere

RSVP for Bernie’s Global Warming Conference

February 27, 2013

Despite assertions by the fossil fuel industry and their representatives in Congress, global warming is real and is already causing devastating damage to the planet. The situation will only get much, much worse in the years to come if we don’t act boldly and make significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

In my view, Vermont can and must be a leader in transforming our energy system away from fossil fuels and into energy efficiency and sustainable energy.

Please join me and Vermont’s environmental leaders for a conference in Montpelier on Saturday, March 16 to discuss the global warming crisis facing our planet, how it will affect Vermont, and learn what we can do about it. We’ll have some great speakers, workshops and opportunities for dialogue. I hope you can join us.

Sincerely,

Bernie Sanders
United States Senator
