The Public Service Department today released a Request for Information related to its evaluation of net metering under Section 219a of Title 30, being conducted this fall as required by Act 125 of 2012. The Request focuses on the analysis of the costs and benefits of net metering to non-participating ratepayers. It includes a summary of proposed methodology as well as points where public and expert input would be particularly valuable.
The Request for Information and a supplemental literature review are available for download at http://publicservice.vermont.gov/pub/other-pubs.html.
The Department seeks public comments and information regarding the questions raised in the Request for Information by October 24, 2012.
