Race to the Top of Bradford

When: Saturday, June 5th (National Trails Day)
Time: 8:30 On-site Registration
9:00 Event Begins
Where: Devil’s Den Trailhead, Chase Hollow Road, Bradford, VT

3.5 MILE RUN: Make a challenging 850 foot ascent to the top of Wrights Mountain on beautiful trails of Bradford’s town-owned forestland. Enjoy a quick view from Bradford’s highest point before you loop back to the starting area. Prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers as well as various age group winners. $15 Registration Fee (includes t-shirt).

1.5 MILE FUN RUN/WALK: This event is open to ages 13 and under. Enjoy a picturesque tour through the lower Wrights Mountain Forest. Small children must be accompanied by an adult. All children will receive a prize for completing this course. $5 Registration Fee.

Refreshments will be available by donation.

Entertainment will be provided by ‘Junkyard Jackie’!


All proceeds will benefit the Bradford Conservation Commission (BCC), which manages this town-owned forest. The BCC is currently raising money to purchase and conserve additional land adjacent to the current forest. The event is sponsored by the Bradford Conservation Commission and St. J Auto.
