BURLINGTON, April 16 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will host a geothermal energy roundtable at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Burlington City Hall to discuss how geothermal energy can play a role in moving Vermont to a more sustainable, cleaner, and more energy-independent future.
Joining the senator will be Cathy Zoi, the assistant secretary for energy efficiency and renewable energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, along with leading geothermal installers and experts from Vermont, as well as Vermont homeowners and others who have installed geothermal systems.
