VPR’s “Vermont Edition” program at noon today will focus on bike/ped issues. Bruce Lierman, Advocacy Chair of the VT Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition, and Chapin Spencer, executive director of Local Motion, will be interviewed.

Legislative Update: H.540, the Safe Passing bill, is scheduled to be discussed by the Senate Transportation Committee for the fifth time on Friday morning. Tweaking the language of the bill has been the focus of recent discussions. We’re making progress in a lengthy process.
