Dartmouth College: Renewable energy careers bootcamp!

This week, the Irving Institute is offering a “Renewable Energy Careers Bootcamp” series for students interested in renewable energy finance and careers in renewable energy more broadly.
The bootcamp will feature three evening events:
On March 23rd, Jordan Swett ’19 (Senior Finance Associate, Sunwealth) will provide a broad introduction to careers in the renewable energy sector and a deep dive into renewable energy project finance. Format: talk with Q&A. Open to all students.
On March 24th, a panel of recent graduates working in renewable energy will share their experiences. Featuring Rett Young ’14 (Generate Capital), Evie Bird ’19 (3Degrees), Laura Hutchinson ’19 (Rocky Mountain Institute), and Adam Philie ’18 (Sunwealth). Format: panel discussion with Q&A. Open to all students.
On March 25th, we’ll hear from industry leaders Omar Blayton (CFO, Sunwealth), Scott Brown (Founder and CEO, New Energy Capital), and Andrew Marino (Senior Managing Director and Head of Strategy, Generate Capital) about the role that private investors and markets play in the renewable energy transition, their power to further social, racial, and environmental justice, and the impact of the new administration’s policies on this sector. This event is cosponsored by the Revers Center for Energy at the Tuck School of Business, and the panel discussion will be moderated by April Salas, Director of the Revers Center. This event is open to all.
