On Saturday March 25th leading professionals will give presentations and provide 1-on-1 suggestions for how home and business owners can cut their energy costs right now!

Dozens of experts will be on-hand to explain ways to cut heating and cooling costs through the best techniques, including specialized areas like design, lighting, insulation, planning, solar, wind, storage, and green financing.

Leading Experts Provide Energy $avings Ideas

  • Doors to the Yester House at the SVAC open at 9:00
  • The keynote presentation on the Zero Energy Now program begins at 10:00 am
  • At 11:30 see the panel on Energy Conservation, covering passive design, energy audits, super insulation, and the latest breakthroughs in LEDs and financial assistance
  • At 2:00 pm the panel on Power Generation lays out the latest innovations in renewables including solar PV, wind power, battery storage and community solar

Both panels feature a moderated discussion followed by a breakout into five different question & answer sessions focused around each of the key topics.

Beyond the presentations, the Yester House will be filled with informative displays about all types of conservation, renewable energy, and assistance to make saving energy even more affordable. VEEP, the Vermont Energy Education Program, will be there with fun, hands-on examples of solar and wind energy for students, parents, and teachers — and kids under 14 are free! Plus, we will be surrounded by student artwork from more than 20 schools selected by the Southern Vermont Arts Center.
