SolarFest Coming to Manchester, VT on July 15th & 16th

SolarFest will be held on July 15th & 16th, 2016 at the beautiful 120 acre campus of the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, Vermont.

The Village Board of Trustees approved a Special Event Permit to hold a two-day festival beginning the third decade of SolarFest with a solar-powered line up that will combines top quality music, wide-ranging workshops, Theater-in-the-Woods, thought-provoking speakers, and the latest innovative technologies with the magnificent artwork and facilities of the SVAC.

Naomi Bindman, President of SolarFest Board said, “The Sunrise Celebration in July will be a great time to gather and share ideas and innovations while we enjoy the beautiful art, inspiring performances and excellent workshops. SolarFest at SVAC is the perfect place to learn and to have fun.”

Robert McCafferty, President of the SVAC Board added, “We are thrilled that SolarFest will bring people exciting new ways to reduce energy use, save money, and protect the planet, surrounded with the art and natural beauty of the Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester.
