We would like to enthusiastically invite you to the
South Burlington Energy Prize Kick-Off Party!
Saturday, January 24th
1 to 4 p.m.
FH Tuttle Middle School cafeteria
(doors open at 1:00, program begins at 1:30)
South Burlington has officially made the semifinal round of the Georgetown University Energy Prize and the competition is underway! The city has the opportunity to win $5,000,000 in this competition that is challenging communities around the country to form collaborations among governments, residents, utilities, and businesses to achieve innovative, replicable, scalable and continual reductions in residential and municipal electric and natural gas consumption.
There will be food, music, games, door prizes and activities for all ages. Many of our partners will be there tabling with us with giveaways and resources to help you on your energy efficiency journey.
We will have information about the prize, our next steps, and how to get involved; and you can hear comments from City Councilors, our prize team, and our partners!
Community-wide involvement is key to our success; so please join us, spread the word, and bring your friends, family, and neighbors.
