Who Killed the Electric Car - a documentary film from 2006.

Saturday January 30th
7 p.m.
Tenney Library, Newbury, Vermont.

Who Killed the Electric Car deals with the history of the electric car and explores the roles of automobile manufacturers, the oil industry, the US government, the state of California and consumers in limiting the development and adoption of this technology.

The film is narrated by Martin Sheen and directed by Chris Paine.

There is no admission fee but donations will be gratefully accepted at the door. The film is co-sponsored by the Newbury Conservation Commission and the Newbury Energy Committee.
